Kristen Ayanah founded Black Talk Radio (BTR) as a college freshman, driven by a genuine passion for storytelling and culture. What began as a small idea has grown into a dynamic platform, supported by a dedicated team, strong community backing, and mentorship along the way. Through consistency and a clear vision, BTR has built an engaged audience and continues to amplify voices across music, entertainment, and Black culture.

Black Talk Radio will use donations to support equipment upgrades, studio maintenance, and travel for on-site coverage of concerts and festivals. These resources allow BTR to continue producing high-quality content, expand its reach, and create more opportunities for artists and creatives to be heard. As an independent, self-funded platform, this support plays a key role in sustaining and growing the brand.
