Kristen Ayanah established Black Talk Radio (BTR) out of pure passion as a college freshman. Despite challenges, with the help of friends turned colleagues, the support of her community and listeners, and the professors and mentors around her, BTR thrived. Even during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kristen continued to provide engaging content and activities for her audiences while maintaining consistent client communication. Maintaining audience engagement is BTR's ultimate goal, and the support of our dedicated audience has been vital for its success.

Black Talk Radio will utilize donations for purchasing and maintaining equipment, studio maintenance, and funding travel expenses for covering concerts & festivals. In 2024 Black Talk Radio has conducted over 20 interviews and counting & has covered 10 festivals & concerts thus far. These donations will greatly benefit BTR because BTR is entirely self-funded and dependent on Kristen's income.
