AJ Chaka is a rap artist & songwriter from Dallas, Texas who is currently signed to Neo Gold Records. Just recently, AJ dropped a new single called “Mic Check” featuring John Jiggs & producer Marcus Boyd Beats. As I listened to this song I could tell that this song deserves the positive reviews it’s getting. He dropped the video on June 15, 2021, & the views are only going up with fans raving in the comments. He has been building his catalog since 2017 he released his first project The Growth Tape a sequel to that in 2020. Since the release of The Growth Tape, he released 5 singles & a new project called “Trilled As A It Gets”, which is doing extremely well. My favorite song from the new project is “Give My All” he brings the boom-bap sound to Texas that I have never seen before. AJ is on the gritty side with a sound like a New York artist. He has a bright future not only because he doesn’t sound like a Texas native but because he is very adaptable in his environment. He knows when to have fun and snap on a track, and fans can see he is truly a passionate artist. If you’re into sample beats, boom-bap, or real rap you should definitely listen to AJ Chaka.
