Art is most potent when it stems from a personal experience in the curator’s life. Bedstuy recording artist, Will Noon is the perfect example of this. He has been pursuing music since 2009 but his artistry actually derives in 2007 in the form of poetry. Committing to art whole heartedly he spent many long nights in the studio reflecting . At that time period of his life his love life powered a lot of the music.
“The name of my project is due to my miserable ex not being able to let me go even though she was doing her own thing”.
Records do best when they’re relatable and Noon’s project “Misery Loves Company” is no exception. Before publicly releasing it, Noon shared his art with his peers and people closest to him that also experienced the same betrayal and toxicity that
he did, as young people tend to do as they blinding navigate the brutality of life and love at tender ages. Noon continues to spread knowledge and his experiences through his music , even collaborating with other artist that you’d least expect. Stay tuned for what he has in store next .
